Happy Birthday Banner Publix Cake

 Happy Birthday Banner Publix Cake

Every year on the birthday of famous author Charles Dickens, his fans make 'A Christmas Carol' come to life.

The famous ghost story opens with the character Mr.

Fezziwig reciting A Christmas carol to the characters in his imagination.

Many fans find this imagery magical- and they create their own versions.

One of the most famous is called Jacob Marley's Ghost, which opens with the depressed ghost of old Jacob blessing himself for having lived well.

Birthday celebrants often recited this hauntingly cheerful poem to bring themselves back from a festive low point.

Taking inspiration from this classic, here is a sample of its format.

The main characters are listed at the top of each body paragraph.

To announce a birthday party, guests will need a banner bearing the guest of honor's name.

In this example, the birthday is for Jane Jane Doe.

To make the banner, you will need several items you can find at a home center or craft store.

These include paper, glue and patterned ribbon or twine.

You will also need scissors and a pen to inscribe the text on the paper.

Here is what you will do to make your own happy birthday banner:

Choose a page from a spiral notebook or other inexpensive notebook paper and pencil thin lined paper inside.

You can use either plain paper or decorative patterned paper for your base layer.

Next, cut out a shape from white cardboard to use as your template (a circle works well).

Place your base layer of paper on your cardboard circle and position your chosen cake on top of it.

Using your pen, trace around both items so that only one side of each remains transparent (you will cut out both items later).

Then cut out both layers with your scissors.

Do not remove the cardboard circle first! That would have your base layer still stuck to it when you remove the cake layer- which could cause the cake to shift and ruin your project.

Let go of both layers at once to avoid tearing your notebook paper.

YOU NOW HAVE ALL THE MATERIALS NEEDED TO THROW A MEMORABLE BIRTHDAY BASH! GUESTS WILL BE IMPRESSED WHEN THEY SEE THIS FESTIVE BANNER HANGING IN FRONT OF THE PARTY HOST'S HOME.

For another idea, try using this template to make a personalized gift tag for that person's gift! Anyone who receives this gift will know that you took the time to put thought into their celebration- and they will be ever so grateful!

Use some glue to affix your base layer onto your notebook paper- then add ribbon or twine for hanging and decoration.

Next, write out each line of A A D Does on one side of your notebook paper using your pen as a crayon.

This gives you space for all 15 lines of text on your banner.

Put on some festive music and dance away while reciting Dickens' famous carol 'A Christmas Carol.' When you feel confident that everyone knows who is hosting this year's party, stop dancing and enjoy your birthday!
